Akela 2026 May Roundtable and Cookout
Event Details
Come out to the Akela Roundtable Gathering and Cookout on Thursday, May 7th at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church starting at 6:30pm. Dinner will be Hibachi chicken, veggies, side, and more cooked ad provided by Troop 57.
In addition to a delicious dinner, we will have:
- Fishing Basics Training by Crystal Kessler
- Make sure your Cubs are ready for Mom & Me!
- New Member Coordinator Training/Growth Planning by Heather Tipton
- Crash course in the position, and information about our plan to grow the district!
- Favorite Camping Trips
- Leaders and scouts will be given an opportunity to present their favorite camping trips. Photos, presentations, or memorabilia are welcome and encouraged!
This is a free event for all leaders in the Akela District. Representation from each of our organizations in the district is expected, but new leaders and prospective volunteers are highly encouraged to attend!
