The Akela District is hosting a cookout and program preview for the 2026/2027 scouting year on Thursday September 10^th starting at 6pm. Troop 68 at Jamestown Presbyterian will be hosting this event, Sue Hampton from the Tutelo Chapter of the OA will also be present to discuss their event schedule and there will be two training sessions, one for the Committee Chair position and the Unit New Member Coordinator.

This is a free event for all leaders in the Akela District and if you know someone that is interested in becoming a registered leader for any position, please invite them to this event to find out more about the Scouting program!
