Akela Pinewood Derby Car Workshop Night - Thursday Novemeber 5^th

Session 1: 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm

Session 2: 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Session 3: 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm

Session 4: 7:30 pm - 8:15 pm

The Akela District is hosting a Pinewood Derby Car Workshop at Rowland Woodworking as our Roundtable event for November. This event will be on Thursday November 5^th from 6 to 8 pm.

We are asking you register for a time slot that works best for you and your Cubs. We have limited this event to 20 Cubs plus your "Bring A Friend" for each session but if all sessions fille up, we may be able to open a fifth session before 6pm.

Car kits will be available for purchase along with sample car designs, sandpaper, and light refreshments.

We are promoting this as a recruiting event, so please Bring a Friend! For those that sign up that evening with a paid membership will get a FREE car! Our Council Assistance Scout Executive Brian McGuire will be on site to assist.

Please Note: All Cub Scout youth must be under the constant and direct supervision of a parent, guardian or two adult leaders who are registered with the Scouting America program, with a completed background check, and unexpired youth protection training

Parking is available on Tate Street right off Market Center Drive. Market Center Drive is one-way so if you miss Tate Street, take a right at Main Street and a right on Wheeler Ave. to get back to Tate Street.
