Scouts & Scouters get ready start your engines and race your way into igniting the spirit of Scouting! The Akela District Pinewood Derby will be held on Saturday, February 7th and will be hosted by Pack 4 at Wesley Memorial Church (1225 Chestnut Dr, High Point, NC 27262).

The cost to enter the derby is $6 per racer.

This derby is open to ALL Cubs regardless of placement in Pack Races. Cubs who place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any category their Pack creates should register in the "Pack Pinewood Derby Winners" category, while other racers may register as "Youth Participants".

We will have a preliminary race that will be open any Cub Scout in both districts and then Championship races for Akela and Uwharrie to determine the winners from each district.

Car impounding starts at 9:00am through 10am. Racing will commence at 10:30am. Visitors and spectators are welcome to attend at no charge!
