Order of the Arrow, the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America. The purpose of the Order of the Arrow is to recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and through that recognition cause others to conduct themselves in a way that warrants similar recognition; to promote camping, to develop leaders, and to crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others.

On (May 22 and 23rd at Camp Strang), your Scout will become a member of our Order of the Arrow lodge, Paugassett Lodge 553. This weekend will offer a unique opportunity for them to reflect on their personal commitment to the principles and purposes of the Order of the Arrow. This weekend is undertaken by every new candidate and is a meaningful and inspiring experience that will not soon be forgotten.
