Emergency Day

CT Rivers is pleased to announce the fourth annual Emergency Day! This year's Emergency Day will be held at Camp Mattatuck on Saturday, October 3rd.

Emergency Day is for Fire Exploring Posts and Scouts BSA.

Fire Explorers from all over the council will come together to gain knowledge and network with other agencies from around the state. Participants will participate in timed events and act as a competition (Muster). Posts will earn trophies for the best time for each competition.

Scouts BSA will have the opportunity to earn FOUR merit badges in ONE DAY!! The merit badges are Crime Prevention, Traffic Safety, Safety, and Fingerprinting. Scouts will listen to multiple guest speakers from careers in the Fire, EMS, Police, & Military career fields. If your scout already has one or two merit badges, the day will still be interactive for them, and they will earn the remainder badges. 

Registration will be from 8am - 9am. The Day will start at 9am and will end around 4pm.

Lunch is provided for both Exploring and Scouts BSA.
