Emergency Day

CT Rivers is pleased to announce the second annual Emergency Day! This year's Emergency Day will be held at Camp Mattatuck on Saturday, June 8th. Emergency Day is for Fire Exploring Posts and Scouts BSA. Fire Explorers from all over the council will come together to gain knowledge and network with other agencies from around the state. Posts will participate in 6 activities which is timed and act as a compeition (Muster). Posts will earn trophies for the best time for each competion.  There will also be presentations from special guests from state agencies. Scouts BSA will have the opportunity to earn a merit badge in the emergency services field.

Lunch is provided for both Exploring and Scouts BSA.  The Menu will be Chicken Patty's, Fries, & Salad. If you have any dietary resstrictions, please reach out to John Coleman. 

Fire Exploring:

Muster Activities and Rules will be sent out to Posts.

The Event will be from 9am to 3pm

Scouts BSA:

Merit Badges we will be offering are the following:

First Aid - 9am - 2pm.    (This Merit Badge has Pre-Rec's, please see in the links attached) 

Crime Prevention - 9am - 12pm

Safety - 12pm - 2pm    (This Merit Badge has Pre-Rec's, please see in the links attached) 

Public Health - 12pm - 3pm
