Cub Scout Leader Skills Academy

Join Cub Scout leaders from across the Connecticut Rivers Council for a full day of hands-on training, inspiration, and fellowship at the Cub Scout Leader Skills Academy.

This dynamic training event is designed to equip Cubmasters, den leaders, committee members, and new volunteers with practical skills and fresh ideas to strengthen their pack programs. Participants will choose from a wide range of engaging sessions covering program planning, outdoor activities, advancement, leadership development, communication strategies, and more.

The day will also feature a special Blue and Gold-style Festival Lunch, providing time to connect with fellow leaders, explore council resources, meet community program partners, and gather new ideas to bring back to your pack.

Whether you are brand new to Cub Scouting or an experienced leader looking to refresh your skills, this academy will provide tools you can use immediately to make Scouting more fun, more effective, and more impactful for the youth you serve.

Registration Fee: $40.00
Includes event registration, festival lunch, course materials, commemorative event patch, and a certificate of completion.
