This course is designed for Summer Camp Staff supervising Campers on flat water. 

The Scouting America Paddle Craft Safety expands Safety Afloat training to include the skills and knowledge needed for a Staffer to confidently supervise boating excursions. The program contains two separate modules. Basic canoeing and basic kayaking options cover flat-water boating skills.

Completion of this course satisfies the State of Connecticut Youth Camp requirement that the DIRECTOR OF SMALL CRAFT "Must have successfully completed a boating safety course applicable to the type of small craft used at the youth camp"
