*Note* Even if you can not attend the event, we ask families to submit bios & pictures of their Eagle Scouts to be featured in our booklet so we can honor their efforts. 

The twenty-five communities representing the Charter Oak District currently support over 50 Scouts BSA Troops, each holding true to the original aims of Scouting America: helping young people grow into future leaders by providing citizenship training, character development, and a focus on personal fitness.

The Eagle Scout rank is the ultimate goal for boys and girls who enter the program as early as the fifth grade. Along the way, Scouts complete at least 21 merit badge courses, design and lead a substantial service project, and practice leadership within their troop. Fewer than 4% of Scouts who start Scouting reach this challenging goal.

"Once an Eagle, always an Eagle" captures the lifetime commitment that these young people have made. Eagles finish what they start, get involved in their community, and can be expected to uphold a high standard of moral character.

Check payments must be received by 12/31/25 to be guaranteed a spot in the program and a seat.
