Completion of this Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation course is mandatory for a minimum of one adult on a Pack overnighter.  This training will be held at Camp Kitchtau. Check in begins at 5:30pm Friday in the cabin and concludes Saturday. The overnight portion of this course is required per the BALOO syllabus, and we’ll send info on a recommended packing list.

BALOO training comprises 1) online training element prior to the course, 2) hands-on, in person training. Both parts are required to be considered fully trained as a Cub Scout Leader. Please also complete SCO_800 Hazardous weather training prior to the course. Please bring medical forms to check in.

This hands-on leader training is not only a fun experience, but also a great way to bring skills back to your Pack.  We look forward to meeting you!
