SDI Open Water Certification Program
- $450
- Offered July 8th-11th & July 29th-Aug 1st
(Starts at 8:00am on Day 1, Ends at 5:00pm on Day 4)
- Open to both youth (age 13+) and adults
Description
This entry level SCUBA Certification course is designed to give participants the qualifications and skills necessary to safely conduct open water dives. Participants will learn about buoyancy, applying weights, marine conservation, equipment and more. There will also be an online training section that participants must complete before the onsite training at camp. Details will be sent to all who register. This program includes meals from Monday lunch through Thursday lunch, overnight camping and program from Monday through Wednesday, with departure on Thursday evening. This also includes all instruction, equipment and certification.

In addition to the attached BSA Medical form, additional forms will be provided by the Connecticut SCUBA Academy. 

Advanced SCUBA Certification Program
- $300
- Offered August 2nd-4th
(Starts at 6:00pm on Friday, Ends at 12:00pm on Sunday)
- Open to both youth (age 13+) and adults
Description
This advanced level SCUBA course will focus on the Underwater Navigation and Night time and Limited Visibility Diving Programs. Participants will learn how to properly navigate underwater, develop skills related to natural navigation, underwater compass navigation and techniques that utilize multiple approaches. In addition to diving during the day, participants will also dive in the evening using dive lights, and interact with  octurnal aquatic life.

Registration includes meals beginning with Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast. Two nights of camping will be included as well as instruction, equipment and two certifications. Participants must have an entry level open water certification to participate in this advanced course.
