Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a training designed to introduce Cub Scout
leaders to facilitating overnight camping opportunities.
This training will include experiences relating to activities, skills instruction, event planning, and
more. Participants must complete an online training module and be at camp Saturday at 8:00
am to Sunday at 10:00 am to complete this course.

The gear that is recommended for all participants to bring with them is as follows:
• Tent
• Sleeping bag
• Sleeping pad or mattress
• Sturdy shoes
• Change of clothes
• Sleeping attire
• Mess kit
• Soap, washcloth, towel
• Camp chair
• Notebook, pen, pencil
• Coat jacket, cap, and gloves
