Centennial Shawtown Hike–February 17th

The first event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Camp Workcoeman will be a hike to Shawtown woods to learn about the history of this special place that dates back to the 18th century.

Come on this hike to learn about the history of Shawtown–walk to sites such as the foundations of the Hessian Village, the ‘Four Towns Rock,’ the camp overlook and more.

Gather for this hike at the camp chapel 8:00am, come prepared to hike five miles, back a trail snack.

Hike will end by 12:30pm.

No fee, however; we would like all participants to register in advance for planning purposes.
