Hosted by Troop 57 – East Hampton
Please join us for the 2022 Southeastern District Spring Camporee at J.N. Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford, CT. Thank you to Troop 57 for Hosting our Spring Camporee this year!!
The events will be centered around a character class from fantasy fiction or dungeon crawler type adventure games. Participation, teamwork, leadership, and Scout spirit will be considered in the scoring of each event. Many events will be time limited, with partial credit given based on completion.
Schedule of Events:
Friday:
• Starting at 6:00 PM – Campsite Assignments upon arrival at Camp.
Saturday:
• Reveille/Breakfast – At your campsite
• 8:30 am – SPL/Scoutmaster Meeting – Dining Hall
• 9:00 am – Opening – Parade Field Flagpole
• 9:30 -Noon –Patrol Competitions – Part 1
• Noon -1:30 pm – Lunch in your Campsites
• 1:30- 4:30 pm – Patrol Competitions – Part 2
• 5:00 pm – Closing – Parade Field Flagpole
• 5:00 – 7:30 pm – Dinner/Troop Time
• 7:30 pm – Scouts Own Service, Campfire & Awards – Council Ring - Each Troop/Patrol should be prepared to participate with a skit, song, or cheer!
• 10:00 pm – Taps

• Breakfast/Break Camp-Thanks for coming and Drive Home Safe!!

Event List
1. Pyromancer - fire building: Demonstrate your skills with fire-based magic. Build a fire with only the materials provided to accomplish a challenge. Scoring advantage will be provided due to difficulty of ignition source (e.g., higher score for flint and steel over matches). Skills to know: 2nd Class-2c; 1st Class-3d; Tenderfood-3c.
2. Cleric - first aid: Using the healing magic demonstrate knowledge of first aid, particularly those skills useful in an adventure. Points awarded for correctly diagnosing and/or treating specific injuries provided. Skills to know: Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, and 1st Class first aid.
3. Ranger – navigation/nature: Use knowledge of the natural world, to track through nearly any landscape, using the smallest clue to set their course and identify signs in the wilderness. Skills to know: Tenderfoot-4b; 2nd Class 3a/4; 1st Class-4a/5a/5c.
4. Artificer – knots: Artificers are masters of invention, using ingenuity and magic to unlock extraordinary capabilities in ordinary objects. Skills to know: Scout 4a; Tenderfoor-3a-c, 2nd Class-2f-g, 1st Class-3b.
5. Siege Warrior – pioneering: Forged in the heat of war, siege warriors are specialized in protecting castles or invading fortresses. Skills to know: 1st Class-3c-d.
6. Rogue - obstacle course: Demonstrate stealth and trickery to overcome obstacles and enemies.
7. Warlord - catapult launcher: Warlords are accomplished and competent battle leaders. Demonstrate the skills of battle by hitting targets with catapult launcher.
8. Paladin – Scout spirit/service: Demonstrate your Scout spirit through your display of your patrol flag and yell, as well as participating in a service project. Skills to know: Scout-3b.
