BALOO - Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation - Training at JNW.

$30 per person - online prerequisites at my.scouting.org 

Check in at 8:00 AM on Saturday, November xxx at xxx Cabin - at the top of the hill past the main parking lot on the right. The course will be completed at 11:00 AM on Sunday, November xxx. 

Bring your tent, sleeping bag and flashlight as you will be camping in your tent outdoors (in Site x) – We will help you survive it!!  Meals will be provided, no shower facilities.

BSA requires that you have a least one BALOO-trained adult on every Cub Scout den or pack overnight outdoor event. This applies to Pack Camping and Webelos Den overnighters!

Welcome to BALOO training! This is the Cub Scout leader training required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighters and Webelos den overnighters. BALOO training is comprised of two components—an online component and a practical, hands-on component. Both components must be completed to qualify as a “TRAINED” Cub Scout outdoor leader. The online component must be completed prior to the practical component. The online training contains introductory and basic information that will be built upon during the practical training.
