How your Sponsorship helps the youth of Connecticut

Your donation allows youth from 127 towns across Connecticut become better citizens and leaders of tomorrow. The Merit Badge Program helps young men and women explore the world and introduce them to fun hobbies and vocational interests in a safe, structured, learning program only available through Scouting. Due to the pandemic, we started offering virtual programs. In less than 2 months, we have virtually served 514 Scouts with Merit Badges and 103 Cub Scouts with NOVA programming. Each week we have a variety of different opportunities. 

The NOVA Awards program incorporates learning with cool activities and exposure to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Completing the requirements for NOVA Awards stimulates interest in STEM-related fields and shows how science, technology, engineering and mathematics apply to everyday living and the world around them.

There is no better time than now to help guide our youth in positive directions. Your support helps Connecticut Rivers Council provide a year-round program to help our young men and women grow into adults prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. Thank you!
