NOAC 2027

Event Details

Tschitani Lodge
NOAC Contingent Information

What Is NOAC? The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow and is Scouting’s 2nd largest national event. 7,000+ Scouts from across our nation will gather for an inspirational and unforgettable experience full of fellowship, training,
adventure and fun! We will stay in college dorms, eat in the cafeterias, use their classrooms for trainings, and athletic facilities for recreation, and attend shows in the college’s arena. Go to noac27.org for more info.

When and Where will NOAC be held? NOAC will be held from July 26 - July 31, 2027 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The Lodge expects to send a Contingent of 35 - 40 youth and adults to the event.

Who can attend? Any member of the Tschitani Lodge, registered in the Connecticut Rivers Council, can attend, as long as you have paid your Lodge dues in 2026 and 2027. You are considered a Youth participant if you will be under 21 years old while attending the event. Those 21 or older as of July 26, 2027 are considered Adult attendees.

Who leads the Contingent? AJ Giuliano will be the Youth Contingent Leader that will lead our group. The Youth Contingent Leader assists with planning the trip with the adult contingent leaders, scheduling group activities, handling group communication and group gatherings at the event. Rob Schwarzhaupt will be the Adult Contingent Leader (rschwarzhaupt@att.net). Select adult leaders from the Lodge will escort the group.

What does NOAC Cost? We expect the trip to be around $1,100-$1,300 for youth (under 21 at time of NOAC) and $1,400-$1,600 for adults (21+). This cost will cover National event Fees (At event - lodging, meals and certain activity costs), transportation, contingent SWAG (t-shirts, patches, etc…), and more. We are currently collecting payments based on $1,200 for youth and $1,500 for adults, but this is subject to change, mainly due to the volatility of airfare. We will do everything we can to keep the cost close to our estimates.

OK, I want to go. What should I do next? Register on the Council Website, ctscouting.org (find the date on the Calendar) and make your first payment. This does not guarantee you a spot, but gets the ball rolling so we can ensure all requirements are met and register you. Then, make sure you are keeping up with payments. A schedule is in the NOAC Contingent - Additional Details linked below.

What if me or my parents have questions or need additional information? The Lodge will be holding a 2027 NOAC Kickoff Meeting on Monday, September 28 from 700 - 800 pm on Zoom. See the link below for the meeting invite.
