Cub Scout Day at New Britain

Museum of American Art

When: May 30th Admission for the day (10 am -5 pm).

Two tour / activity sessions: 10am -12 pm and 1pm -3 pm (limited space)

Where: 56 Lexington St, New Britain, CT 

Cost: $20 per scout (includes tour, activity and scavenger hunt) $10 per adult

Two options for Studio time:

Art Bones 

Students will learn how to look at art by exploring in depth how artists use various elements of art to express their ideas.

Stories in Art

Students will view artworks to discover imaginative ways that artists tell stories or express their points of view. In "reading" works of art, students will consider character, setting, plot, tone, and perspective.
