Description: Join Scouts from across the region for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of America’s 250th birthday at the America’s Semiquincentennial Camporee at historic Camp Workcoeman!
This weekend-long event will immerse Scouts in the spirit of our nation’s founding through exciting hands-on programs, challenges, and reenactors that bring American history to life. Patrols will test their teamwork and Scout skills through colonial-era competitions, outdoor adventures, and patriotic activities that honor 250 years of freedom, service, and exploration.
Highlights will include:
Living history demonstrations and reenactors
Frontier and pioneer skill challenges
Patriotic campfire celebration
Special commemorative patch and recognition for all participants
Opportunities to meet Scouts from many different troops
