Celebrate Memorial Day by Honoring our Veterans

A Scout is Helpful.

 Scouts and Scouters, your help is needed on Saturday, May 23 with the Flag placement at Oak Hill Cemetery. or on May 30 to pickup the flags

Date: Saturday, May 23rd & Saturday, May 30th

Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (9:00AM - Noon on May 30th)

Includes Free Lunch and a Patch! (Lunch on May 23rd only)

Location: Oak Hill Cemetery, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125

Reason: It is time honor people that have served in the US Arm Forces that are buried there.  

TO WEAR: Wear the official uniform of your unit. Preferably what is considered Class A’s. 

What to bring: A long screw driver or long rod to poke a hole for the flag, the ground can be very hard.  Some drinking water

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?  This depends upon the number of volunteers. Scouts can earn service hours, make new friends from other units, and show that a scout is helpful.

If you cannot help with placement the flags need to be retrieved on May 30th.

If possible, sign up as a unit.  Check in on both days starts at 9:00AM
