2025 Adopt-a-Campsite Weekend at Camp Hi-Sierra

To get ready for another great camp season, we’re inviting you to help by adopting a campsite. In previous years, many troops have taken part in our "Adopt a Campsite" program, contributing to the upkeep and improvement of their selected sites. In the past many troops have “Adopted A Campsite” at camp and performed work to maintain and improve that site. We are asking for your help to do that again. Troop projects need prior approval.
Attending the Adopt-A-Campsite weekend is a perfect opportunity for newly bridged scouts to get a taste of camp life before the summer session. It allows them to familiarize themselves with the camp, meet potential fellow campers, and participate in hands-on activities. This experience will help ease their transition into a full week of camp later on.

As multiple units may request to adopt the same campsite, reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Major project proposals for your adopted campsite must be submitted for review and approval by May 1st. Units will be notified of project approval prior to the event so that you may plan accordingly. Please direct requests to Michael Wilson at CHS@SVMBC.org. All other inquiries about the event can be directed to Kimberly Pantoja at kimberly4scouting@gmail.com
The Adopt-A-Campsite weekend can also help fulfill service requirements for the Saga of Hi-Sierra and offers a chance to work on projects for the upcoming summer. New campers can get a head start on their rank by completing the service project requirements. Campers looking to work towards rank can send their requests to CHS@SVMBC.org. Projects may also be available upon request at the event.
