*It is strongly recommended that you arrive as early as possible to have enough daylight to set up your tent and campsite. Sunset occurs at about 6:30 PM

For Parents and Leaders in Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scout Programs

This course will provide you with the basic outdoor skills needed to start and guide an outdoor program in accordance with BSA standards. The skills taught are based on the outdoor skills found in the Scout Handbook.

No dinner Friday night so please either eat before or bring a sack dinner. There will be a Friday evening cracker barrel

More details will be provided during the Boy Scout Leader Specifics indoor leader training course

Registration Deadline: September 29, 2025. This will allow you to prepare for the session in a patrol

Completion of the ScoutsBSA Indoor Leader Specific Training course is Mandatory prior to taking this course

If the indoor training was taken prior to Saturday, September 27, at a non-South Council location, please contact Bob Mills prior to September 29, for additional instructions
