Join us for an action-packed Training Day designed to equip both new and experienced Scouting leaders with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to deliver a safe, fun, and meaningful program for youth.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to sharpen your leadership skills, this is a one-stop opportunity to complete essential trainings and connect with fellow volunteers from across the district.

BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH TRANSLATION WILL BE AVAILABLE

Trainings Offered:

• 8 - 11:00AM - Safeguarding Youth – Learn the core principles that keep our Scouts safe and our programs strong 
  • Preceded by a registration, check-in and My.Scouting account creation session
• 11 - 12:00PM - Hazardous Weather -- Learn proper safety procedures for ensuring Scouts are safe on outings.
  • Delivered individually via iPads with a synchronized group presentation
• 12 - 12:30PM - Lunch
• 12:30 - 3:00PM - Combined Session: Cub Scout Leader Training
  • Den Leader Training – Practical guidance for leading engaging, age-appropriate Cub Scout meetings
  • Pack Committee Member Training – Understand how to support your pack behind the scenes and keep things running smoothly
  • Cubmaster Training – Master the role of program leader and learn how to energize your pack
• 3 - 6:30PM - Combined Session: Scouts BSA Leader Training
  • Scoutmaster & Assistant Scoutmaster Training – Develop the skills needed to mentor youth leaders and deliver a strong Scouts BSA program
  • Troop Committee Member Training -- Understand how the Troop Committee undergirds youth leadership
• 6:30PM - Event Concludes

These trainings are essential for new leaders, valuable refreshers for seasoned volunteers, and a great chance to network, share ideas, and strengthen Scouting in our community.
