Come celebrate Earth Day by participating in the Great Scout Trash Out 2026!

The Great Scout Trash Out is a new project that is more than just cleaning our planet; it is a day to show the world what Scouting is about!

A Scout is Clean, so help us make an impact in our local community by picking up trash to celebrate Earth Day.

At all pre-arranged locations, all bags will be provided and picked up on site. Gloves and pickers are available, but bring your own if you have a favorite pair or pair of gloves! This service project is good for families, dens, packs, troops, patrols, ships, posts, or crews! Everyone can participate. 

Logistics

• 9:00 AM - 11 AM 
• Sign in when you arrive to receive your equipment and receive your safety briefing.
• A safety checklist will be sent out via email beforehand.
• All youth/units need adequate supervision, so make sure that adults accompany youth.
• Trash will be left on site to be weighed and disposed of.
