Come to our First Ever Annual Bearcub Paw!

Three Day, Two Night Winter Cabin Camping Experience for Cub Scouts and their families!

WHAT: The Bearcub Paw event is designed to get Cub Scouts up into a winter camping environment in safety. It is a cabin based event and has extemely limited signups as a result. The event has a focus on fun in cold weather or snow, along with camping challenges that are easily overcome with experience and mentoring. There will be gallons and gallons of hot chocolate, games, a snow sculpture competition, and skill learning. 

WHEN: February 6th - 8th 

WHERE: Camp Hi-Sierra – 29211 Hwy 108 Long Barn, CA 95335

COST: $100 Early Bird Fee by 12/6/2025, $110 Regular Fee, and $120 Late Fee after 1/6/2026

Price includes cabin fees, cracker barrell, dining hall access, Saturday Breakfast - Sunday Breakfast, and patch for each participant. *Participants will cook or provide their own dinner Saturday evening.

SCHEDULE:

Friday: 6pm – 10 PM check-in. Leaders’ orientation will be held that evening at camp Headquarters (Dining Hall) at 9 pm. There will be snacks and board games in the dining hall upon arrival!

Saturday: Games, Skill Demonstrations, Skill Practice, Ice cave and Snowman competitions! Sledding on the hill!! Hot cocoa!!! Family dinner in the dining hall with a snow oriented movie!

Sunday morning: Breakfast, clean up, pack the cars, and be checked out by 11:00 AM.

Bearcub Paw is a cabin based event for the Cub Scouts. Bearcub Paw focuses on camping in cold weather with or without snow which includes cooking, sleeping, and keeping warm.
