July 2nd - 4th: Camp Hi-Sierra - Webelos Camp Swimming, Climbing tower, Cooking, Scout Skills, Observatory

For Parents New to Scouting:

Part of your registration fee pays for the Cub Scout Day Camp and includes a 12-month membership in Scouting! So, your child can continue the adventure year-round with a local Cub Scout Pack — many of which meet weekly at a nearby school, church, or community center depending on your location. One week of camp $720, two weeks of camp $1,000 

If you're interested, we'll happily connect you with local Packs in your area and give you all the resources to join and get involved!

Cub Scout Day Camp is a multi-day outdoor experience under the supervision of specially trained volunteers. The program is thoughtfully designed to teach Cub Scouts basic life skills through fun activities ranging from Target Sports to nature to STEM projects. We create opportunities for your child to think things through, challenge them mentally and physically, persevere, and to achieve. Scouts earn requirements for rank advancement, earn special awards and gain a lot of self-confidence in a short amount of time. 

Who can attend

Youth entering first grade (Tiger)*, second grade (Wolf), third grade (Bear), fourth grade (Webelos), or fifth grade (Arrow of Light), in Fall of 2025.

*Please note that an adult partner is required every day for all youth entering the first grade (Tiger Scout).

No longer require parent volunteer days!*

*the only exception to this is Tigers require their Adult Partners while at camp.

*BSA Scout Youth Option

We are now offering a parallel BSA scout youth option at History Park #2. This will follow the same times as the Cub Day Camp in terms of operation and will have the same special program opportunities. 

Merit Badge Offerings (all complete badges if requirements finished): Art, Fish and Wildlife Management, Railroading, and Fire Safety.

Trail to First Class requirements offered as well.

The pricing is the same as Cub Scout aged youth. 

Each Scout receives

• Cub Camp T-Shirt
• Cub Camp Patch – worn on their scout uniform
• Requirements towards rank adventures, including shooting sports
• Handmade projects made at camp to take home and cherish
• A lot of encouragement and praise
• New experiences and a head start on the next scouting season

• 3 Days as a Station Host or Den Leader: 50% Off Registration Cost
• 5 Days as a Station Host or Den Leader: 100% Off Registration Cost

Cancellations

If there are any cancellations, please notify the Cub Camp Team at cubcamp@svmbc.org at least 14 days before the start of camp. All refunds are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.

There are no refunds if requested less than 14 days before the event. The event will be held rain or shine. No refunds due to weather or schedule conflicts. In the event that the camp cannot be held, you would receive a full refund.

Serious medical emergencies such as hospitalization (may require a doctor note) or death of immediate family members would receive full refund with a 14 day notice. All other emergencies are subject to consideration.
