Two Districts, One Unforgettable Adventure!

Something exciting is happening at Camporee this year!

For the first time, the Cuesta and Pacific Coast Districts are joining forces for one incredible Los Padres Council-wide Camporee!

We're bringing Scouts together from across the council for a weekend filled with adventure, friendly competition, teamwork, outdoor skills, and unforgettable Scouting traditions.

Imagine patrols cheering each other on, the aroma of Dutch oven cooking, creative gateways welcoming visitors to campsites, and Scouts gathering around a crackling evening campfire.

That's the magic of Camporee!

Whether you're a seasoned camper or attending your very first Camporee, this is your opportunity to put your skills to the test, strengthen your patrol, make new friends, and experience Scouting at its best.

Camporee Highlights

Get your patrol ready to show what you've got!

Scout Skills Challenges: Test your knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities through a variety of competitions and activities.

Campsite Inspections: Show off your patrol's organization, preparedness, and camping skills.

Uniform Inspections: Demonstrate your Scout spirit and pride.

Gateway Inspections: Put your unit's creativity and pioneering skills on display!

Dutch Oven Cooking Competition: Break out your favorite recipes, fire up those coals, and compete for Camporee bragging rights and prizes!

Campfire & Awards Ceremony: Gather with fellow Scouts to celebrate the weekend and recognize outstanding patrols and units. Plan out those amazing skits, run-ons, and songs!

Your Camporee Weekend

Friday, November 13 – Let the Adventure Begin!

Arrival: After 5:00 PM

Arrive at Larsen Meadow, check in, and head to your assigned campsite.

Set up your tents, organize your patrol cooking area, and prepare for a fun-filled weekend.

Dinner is on us Friday night! We'll provide a hot dog dinner so you can concentrate on getting camp set up instead of worrying about cooking after a long day.

Saturday, November 14 – Adventure, Challenges & Competition!

Start your morning with uniform inspections before hiking up to the main camp at Rancho Alegre for a full day of activities and Scouting challenges.

Pack your daypack! You'll need to carry everything you need for the day, including:

Water and refillable water bottle

Sunscreen and hat

Snacks and a packed lunch

Comfortable hiking shoes

Any other personal essentials

After a day of adventure, return to Larsen Meadow for dinner. Units may prepare their own meal or enjoy our optional catered BBQ dinner from Country Meat Market.

Then gather around the campfire for an evening of Scouting spirit, fellowship, and our Camporee awards ceremony!

Sunday, November 15 – Until Next Time!

Departure: After 7:00 AM

Enjoy one final morning at camp, prepare breakfast with your patrol, break down your campsite, and head home with new friendships, stronger patrols, and memories that will last long after the tents are packed away.

Important Registration Information

Registration closes November 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Early registration pricing is available through November 1, 2026.

Late registration pricing begins November 2, 2026.

Any on-site registrations, if accepted, will be subject to applicable late fees.

Saturday night catered dinner is an additional $23 per person.

Saturday night dinner cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after November 1.

All adults staying overnight must be fully registered with Scouting America.

All Arrow of Light patrols attending overnight must provide at least one BALOO-trained leader.

Camping Information

Scouts BSA troops will camp in self-provided tents at Larsen Meadow.

Campsites will be assigned by the Camp Coordinator.

Each unit is responsible for bringing its own tents, camping equipment, cooking gear, and food, except for Friday's provided hot dog dinner and any optional catered meals purchased.

Cooking areas must be established within each unit's assigned campsite.

Scouts should plan to practice the patrol method, setting up and maintaining their own campsite and demonstrating teamwork and self-reliance.

Units should bring appropriate supplies for the weather and the weekend's activities.

Arrow of Light Scouts – You're Invited!

Arrow of Light Scouts are welcome to join the excitement of Camporee for Saturday's activities or an overnight camping experience, provided the appropriate leadership and supervision requirements are met.

Attend with Your Arrow of Light Den or Patrol

Arrow of Light Scouts may participate with their den or patrol under the supervision of two-deep leadership from their Arrow of Light den/patrol or pack.

At least one leader must be BALOO trained.

Parents or legal guardians may attend alongside the den/patrol leadership.

Registered parents or legal guardians may serve as part of the required leadership when they meet applicable requirements.

For overnight participation, the accompanying parent or legal guardian must be fully registered with Scouting America.

All Arrow of Light participation must comply with applicable Scouting America camping, supervision, and Youth Protection policies.

Health & Safety Requirements

Every youth and adult attending Camporee, including Saturday-only visitors, must bring a current Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A and B).

Additional requirements:

Scouts BSA youth must attend with registered adult leaders.

All adults staying overnight must be fully registered with Scouting America.

Arrow of Light patrols must have appropriate two-deep leadership and at least one BALOO-trained leader.

All participants must follow Scouting America Youth Protection and camping safety policies.
