Cub Scout Adventure Day

Larsen Meadow Campground at Rancho Alegre

Get ready for a full day of Cub Scout fun! Cub Scout Adventure Day is a one-day camp-style experience for registered Cub Scouts and prospective new members who will be entering 1st through 5th grade.
Scouts will be grouped into dens for the day and will have the opportunity to participate in all three Cub Scout range and target activities: archery, BB guns, and slingshots, along with other exciting hands-on activities and outdoor programs. This is a great chance for current Scouts to have fun, build skills, and enjoy the adventure of Cub Scouting, while new families get a firsthand look at what Scouting is all about.
This is a drop-off event. Parents are not required to stay; however, registered adult volunteers are needed to make this event possible. If we do not have enough registered adult volunteers, the event will be cancelled.
Lunch will be provided for participants and volunteers. Please note any allergies or dietary restrictions during registration.
Adventure Day is open to registered Cub Scouts and prospective new members entering grades 1–5. This event is NOT open to Lions entering Kindergarten.
Space is limited to 48 participants, and advance registration is required. The last day to register is Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
All range and target activities will be conducted under the supervision of qualified range staff and in accordance with Scouting America safety standards. Each Cub Scout must have a completed Annual Health and Medical Record Parts A & B and a Range and Target Activities permission slip on file in order to participate.
Registered adult volunteers are needed to help make the day a success. Volunteer opportunities include serving as den leaders, station leaders, and set-up/tear-down support. Adult volunteers must be registered and current in Youth Protection Training. Limited volunteer opportunities may also be available for Scouts ages 14 and older with prior approval.
Participants should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe shoes, a uniform or activity shirt, completed forms, and any needed medications.
Join us for a fun-filled day of adventure, discovery, and Cub Scout spirit!
