Join us for Scouting America BB Gun and Sling Shot Rangemaster Training on Thursday, July 2, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the San Luis Obispo Service Center.

This training is designed for registered adult leaders (18+) who would like to serve as BB gun and sling shot rangemasters at council-sponsored range and target activities. Participants will learn the safety procedures, range commands, equipment use, and supervision practices needed to help provide a safe, fun, and well-run shooting sports experience for Scouts.

This training will also be broadcast via Zoom. In order to participate virtually, students must have their video on and remain fully engaged and free from distractions in their environment for the duration of the training.

Completion of this training will prepare participants to assist with BB gun and sling shot ranges at approved Los Padres Council events.
