Get ready for Outdoor Adventure at Yolano District "Camp Carswell" Cub Scout Camp!

What: Cub Scout Twilight and Day Camp for Lions-AOL Scouts (use rank the scout will be in Fall 2026). 

When: June 16-19, 2026 (Tues, Wed, Thurs, & Fri) 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm and June 20, 2026 (Sat) 8 am - 11:30 am. 

Webelos and AOL Scouts plus parent/guardian may also register for camping on site Friday night.

Where: Yolo Bowmen north section of Grasslands Regional Park, 30475 County Road 104, south of Davis

Why: Archery, leather, bb guns, wood working, slingshots, rank-specific activities and more! Campers rotate through all stations.

Cost: Early Bird discount $95 per camper if registered March 7 - April 30, Regular Price $105 per camper if registered May 1 - May 23, and Late registration $115 if registered May 24 - June 6. Camper registration closes June 6. Overnight is $15 per camper.           

Adult volunteer: $7 plus cost of camp tee shirt.       Youth volunter: no cost to register; may order camp tee shirt

How to Register: Register and pay fees on line by clicking green button on this page AND complete paper forms. Campers submit Scouting America Med A&B and shooting sports permission. All adults and youth submit Scouting America Med A&B. Packs should identify a Camp Coordinator to collect forms and provide to Registrar. If not associated with a Pack, please provide forms to Registrar or Camp Director. 

Basics to Bring: water bottle and close-toed shoes. (note camp does not provide dinner)

More Info: Camp Coordinator Training 3/7 3:30 pm @ Woodland Scout Cabin. Volunteer and Parent orientation 6/7 4 pm via Zoom and 6/10 7 pm in person (Location TBD). You only need to attend one. Also review the Camp Handbook 

How to Help: Volunteers needed! Volunteer for set up (June 15 starting 5 pm), clean up (June 20 starting 11:30 am) and/or as a Rank Lead/helper, Station Lead/helper, Rangemasters/Range helper, or walk-around leader during camp. See Camp Handbook for explanation of roles.
