Welcome to the 2023 Northern Rivers District Klondike Derby 

Registration is now available for the 2023 Klondike Derby.  This year's event is going to be a lot of fun with games, prizes, camaraderie, and snow (we hope).  The Leader Guide and the Supplies List are available as attachments on this page.  Much of the activity and schedule will be the same as previous years.

Please be advised that payments must be submitted online or via check to the Council IN ADVANCE of the Klondike.  We will not be running around trying to collect money from units the day of the event.  Units that do not show as having paid will not be allowed entry to the Klondike.

Please note our participation policy:

ALL attendees (that is, all youth and adults who are at the Klondike for any amount of time) MUST be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America.  Additionally, Webelos Scouts are invited to attend on Saturday, but MAY NOT camp overnight.  This is BSA policy regarding camping in inclement weather.  Finally, NO children below Webelos age will be allowed on the premises.  This includes the younger children and infants of adult leaders.  Such children will be required to leave the Klondike, as will the parent that brought them.  We've had a problem with this at recent activities and will be observing a zero tolerance policy at this and future events.
