Wildland Fire Management Merit Badge Test Lab- Troop 29

Troop 29 is offering a training opportunity to test the Wildland Fire Management Merit Badge. In this training Scouts "can learn and do our part to make our homes, our camps and our communities more resilient and resistant to wildfire and we can understand the natural role that fire plays in our nation’s wildlands. Scouts will explore and consider careers in wildland fire management or even how to become Wildland Firefighters."
There is a $35 fee per Scout payable to Troop 29, contact Matt Wright for details.
After, Scouts will be able to complete the Test Labs Survey, review and recommend if this should become a merit badge in the future. Once completed and approved by National Council, participants will automatically receive the Merit Badge.
