2025 3Rivers & American River District's Twilight Camp

 For Cub Scouts entering: Tigers (1st grade) Wolves (2nd grade)  Bears (3rd grade), Webelos (4th grade)  & Arrow of Light (5th Grade)  after June 1, 2025  

Tues June 3 @ 6:30-8:00 pm is the one time to turn in your registration paperwork at Harriett Eddy Middle School and receive your t-shirt and other items for camp.  See attached documents. (Parental permission slips for Climbing Wall and Range & Target Activities.  Medical form AB for all volunteers, cubs and staff and the  Adult Volunteer Agreement.)  

Theme: Invention Convention Twilight Camp -Registration fee includes all dates.

Twilight Camp Schedule

Monday - Thursday

4:30pm - 8:00pm

Friday June 13 will be at the Jerry Fox Swim Center in Elk Grove. (Included in your camp fee)

All age family members are invited to attend this night as we rented the pool for our group only.  

5:00-6:00 Cub Scout Swimming Electives

6-00-6:30 Dinner (bring your own dinner)

6:30-7:30 Free swim for all families. Leave pool by 7:45pm

Saturday June 14  is our Range & Target Activities Day and will be at Mohan's Ranch off Grantline Rd. in Elk Grove. (directions will be emailed and an adult must be on the ranges and be responsible for their own cubscout.)

 8:30AM-2:00-pm.

Open to the same Tigers, Wolfs, Bears, Webelos, & Arrow of Light Cubs. (no siblings) To include bbguns, archery & wrist rockets (sling shots) to earn their new belt loops for each descipline. This day event will be at  Mahon's Ranch in Elk Grove and is included in your Twilight Camp fee.  Directions & information will be emailed to you.

 Registration is online by your Unit Coordinator or adults can register themselves & youth Individually. Packs need to provide at least two registered adults. Kids will be put together in dens based on their new rank, so please register you child based on the new rank they will start working on this summer.  

All Staff & Adult Volunteers during June 9-12th  must be a registered Scouting America Member (you will need your membership # during the registration process.) Call Diane Weiss, 209-327-4752 if you have not completed your adult registration process when you are registering your child. 

Everyone will need to know your Pack # . You are in the Golden Empire Council, and  your district is either the Three Rivers or American River District.  

We encourage Den Chief's, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts and OA to help on staff. The cubs really like having you there at camp! You will also need to know your unit # and district name to register for camp. There is no fee and you will need to wear your field uniform or unit activity shirt each day.  

Tiger Partners are BSA registered as a parent partner with their Tiger and must be responsilbe for their own Tiger Cub at all times. (No exceptions)  The parent will register on the same page as their tiger.

Online registration WILL close May 26, 2024  so we have time to order & prepare supplies, form dens and make sure we have enough leadership for camp. 

Camp Registration Investment

• Cubs (Tigers, Wolfs, Bears, Webelos & Arrow of Light (AOL)-Register by their new rank this summer)  $75.00
• Adults/Staff $25.00 
• Youth staff $0   During camp all youth staff will wear their unit's activity shirt or field uniform.                                                                 
• See list of items each person should bring to camp located in the "Frequently Asked Questions" document located in the attachments. 

Program includes: Games, crafts, swimming, fishing, guest speakers, special activities, elective belt loop requirements, camp patch, backpack with water bottle & goodies, range & target activities, climbing wall, and lots more fun! Parents will be given a list of electivies each scout has earned and you take that list to your pack advancement chair so they can purchase the belt loops/pins for your cubscout to be given out at your first pack meeting.

Note:  New Lions are not included in camp as their program starts in September. There is no Webelos Overnight or accomodations for silblings not old enough for camp.
