Attention all Cub Scouts and families!  Join us August 19 for a fun and exciting day of fishing, prizes, lunch and a cool patch!  Don't know how to fish?  That's OK!  We'll teach you!  Poles, bait, and other fishing supplies will be available, but you can bring your own.  There will also be other activity stations set up, such as fishing knots, Leave No Trace, water safety, fish identification, casting and more.  Awards will be given out for the biggest fish, smallest fish, and the ugliest fish. The location of the event is at Mather Lake Regional Park 4111 Old Eagle's Nest Rd., Mather, CA. 95655 from 9-2PM. 

Lunch: Hot dog, chips and drink  will be provided for the kids and an adult lunch ticket onsite is available for $5.00.  Kids will be fishing and we need adult supervision for each cub scout. If you would like to help at a station please email Vickie Ashworth at gecfishing@gmail.com
