Golden West District Merit Badge Day

Event Details

Golden West District Merit Badge Day. Saturday June 14th, 8:30am - 4:30pm. There are 10 Merit Badges offered - 5 Eagle Required and 5 Electives. First Aid, Camping, Citizenship in Society, Citizenship in the World, Sustainability, Collections, Chess, American Business, Photography, Animation.

There is a morning session 8:30-Noon and an afternoon session 1-4:30pm. You must select your classes in the registration. This is not a fundraiser for the district. All fees are to pay for food and materials needed for the MB sessions. Lunch included! Any remaining funds will be donated to the district Investment in Character program. Scouts may choose a morning session and an afternoon session. Scouts may earn up to 2 merit badges in one day! (First aid and camping are all day sessions, and camping will include everything except for the actual camping days required) 

In addition, a Life-to-Eagle Workshop will take place over the lunch period, Noon-1pm, for those interested in learning best practices for finishing the journey to Eagle Scout.

Any pre-work requirements will be emailed to participants in advance. Print and bring copies of MB Workbooks posted on this sight.
