INTRODUCTION TO OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP SKILLS (IOLS)

Welcome to IOLS training!
 
IOLS is a hands-on program that gives adult leaders a practical introduction to the patrol method of a youth-led troop by teaching many of the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. In addition, the teaching methods, activities, and games model the variety of teaching used in effective and engaging Scouting programs.

Become a “Trained” Leader for your Troop

  • WHO:  Scout Masters, Asst. ScoutMasters, Committee Members, Institutional Reps & Troop Parents
  • WHAT: IOLS
  • WHEN: April 4-5, 5 PM Friday through 6 PM Saturday
  • WHERE: Firestone Scout Reservation, Brea, Webelos Mesa (TBR)
  • ATENDEE FEE: $40 / Note: Non-Refundable starting 7 days prior to event except in cases of emergency
  • STAFF FEE: $12
