This BEGINNING sailing course will introduce you to the exciting world of sailing. You will practice identifying wind direction and speed, rigging your boat, sailing up wind and down, capsizing, tacking and jibing. Mastery of Level 1 skills is required to progress to Sailing 2. (Repetition of class is expected for many sailors to master skills.) Be prepared for a swimming proficiency test on the first day of camp.

*Depending on size of class, instructors may split this group into 2 groups for more private coaching sessions throughout the week.

Sessions run from 1:30pm to 5:00pm Monday - Friday.

• Week 2: June 19th - June 23rd
• Week 3: June 26th - June 31st 
• Week 4: July 3rd - July th (4 Day Week)
• Week 5: July 10th - July 14th
• Week 6: July 17th - July 21st
• Week 7: July 24th - July 28th
• Week 8: July 31st - August 4th
• Week 9: August 7th - August 11th
• Week 10: August 14th - August 18th

Mandatory swim check on first day of camp. 

BSA Health Form AB is required and must be turned in at check-in.
