Date & Time: Saturday, April 11, 2026 (7:00am - 5:00pm) 

Cost: This is a free event, but all participants must be registered in Scouting America.

Description: This hike is designed to help Scouts complete the requirements for the Hiking Merit Badge.  We will take on a 10-mile out-and-back trek along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), featuring scenic views throughout the route. The group will hike approximately 5 miles out before turning around and returning to the trailhead.

Start & End Location: Pacifico Mountain Trailhead
Distance: 10 miles round trip
Elevation Gain: Less than 1,000 feet
Estimated Time: Approximately 7 hours

Required Equipment:
Ten Essentials (including 2-3 liters of water)
Sturdy footwear (trail runners or running shoes are good, hiking boots are OK too)
