What Is a Council Contingent?
Participants attend the Jamboree as part of a specially formed Council troop, not with their home unit. Youth register individually and are grouped into new units with Scouts from across Greater LA Scouting, led by trained and selected adult volunteers. It’s a unique opportunity to meet new friends, grow as a team, and build lifelong memories.
Adventure Awaits:
The 2026 National Jamboree will challenge you, inspire you, and help you grow into a confident leader. From historic tours to high-adventure fun, this experience will shape your Scouting story for life. Are you ready? Let’s go!
Cancellation Policy:
Please note that all payments are non-refundable. However, if a registered participant is unable to attend, a refund may be considered only if a qualified replacement is found to take their spot.
Once a replacement is secured and approved by the Council, a refund will be processed minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
All cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Greater LA Scouting.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support in making the 2026 National Jamboree a successful experience for everyone.
