The Citizenship in the World merit badge is an Eagle-required badge for Scouts in Scouting America. It helps Scouts develop strong character by understanding global responsibilities, exploring different forms of government, and appreciating how countries and cultures interact on an international scale. To earn the badge, Scouts must research, discuss, and explain several global concepts with their merit badge counselor.

Date & Time: Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 1:00pm to 12:00pm

Cost: $50 per Scout (15 scouts max in class)

Citizenship in the World Merit Badge:

• It will be an open discussion.
• Homework will be assigned afterward.
• Counselors will meet with you.
• Read the requirements be aware of what they are asking.
• Prep for answering.
