Cabrillo's Angling Educator Training Course

Event Details

Pacifica District, Greater LA Scouting, Scouting America Angling Educator Training

Want to take your Cubs or Scouts fishing but you need help with how to plan the event?
Fishing is one of the most popular youth activities. It is also a great way to recruit new scouts and retain the scouts you have. The Scouting America Angling Educator training course will teach you everything you need to know to plan and run a fishing event. This is a 4-hour training course. The program is designed to give a Scouter who has never fished before (or recently) the skills and knowledge to go to a pond and be successful quickly. It is designed to teach you how to teach Cubs and Scouts to fish and host a fishing event.

Please bring a lunch or snack and a beverage. Participants finishing the course will receive a Scouting America Angling Educator patch.
