Communication Merit Badge
Period 1: 9:00am - 12:00pm (10 Scouts in the class)

• Wear Class A uniform
• Bring signed Blue Card
• Be ready to give speeches for requirement 2,3, and 6
• Complete requirements 5,7,8, and 9
• Scout may need to return to finish all speeches

Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge
Period 2: 1:00pm - 4:00pm (10 Scouts in the class)

• Wear class A uniform
• Must have proof of completing the first aid merit badges
• Suggested to use worksheet
• Know the definitions of requirement 2 a
• Do requirement 2 b and c (have parent sign off on c)
• Know requirement 6a,b,and c
• Do requirement 7 with help of scout troop or patrol
• Be prepared to discuss requirement 8a, take a picture of requirement 8b
