Lifesaving merit badge 2025 at Trask
Event Details

Important information before signing up:
Scout MUST already have swimmimg merit badge completed and provide proof.
Following the swim check, the Scout must swim continuously for 400 yards using the breast stroke, crawl, sidestroke and elementary backstroke in a strong manner, with good form and rhythmic breathing. This is a requirement for the merit badge.
Be advised that in real life attempting to perform lifesaving can put the rescuer in grave danger. For this reason, mastery of the material in the Merit Badge book is essential. We will be offering additional hours on Friday to those participants in need of remedial assistance.
