Training for Swimming & Water Rescue provides Scouting America leaders with information and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to swimming emergencies during unit swimming activities. It expands the awareness instruction provided by Safe Swim Defense training. 

• October 11 at Trask - Swimming and Water Rescue Certificate/Patch 8 hour course (half in-person, half zoom)
• Open to Adults and teens 15 years+
• PreReq - valid Safe Swim Defense cert (available on training.scouting.org) 
• Able to swim (will perform swim test at Trask)
• 14 people max
• Time 10-2
• Zoom night before 6pm
