Personal management is about mapping a plan for your life that will involve setting short-range and long-range goals and investigating different ways to reach those goals. Education, training, and experience all help make your goals become a reality. To achieve your goals, you will choose the best path and make a commitment to it, while remaining flexible enough to deal with changes and new opportunities.

The badge is available to any registered Scout (including Scouts BSA and Venturers). Because it is academic in nature, counselors expect Scouts to do independent research and complete specific assignments.

Date & Time: Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Cost: $50 per Scout (10 scouts max in class)

Personal Management Merit Badge:

• Read all the requirements (pamphlet and worksheet are helpful)
• Wear field uniform
• Bring a signed Blue Card (will not be signed completed until 90 days are finished)
• Requirement 1 needs to be done (item does not have to be purchased)
• Requirement 2a should be created
• Know the meaning and purpose of requirements 4, 5, 6, 7
• Do requirement 10--pay close attention to b
• Scouts will return in December or meet up in a zoom meeting
