Camp Oljato holds two large work party weekends every year! One on Memorial Day Weekend to help setup Camp Oljato for a Summer of fantastic programs and one on Labor Day Weekend to help pack up the camp for the Winter! 

What to expect of camp facilities

Water will be limited.

What to bring

Bring your own tent and sleeping gear, we’ll set up on the Parade Ground. (Some limited housing may be available; some tent platforms in Family Camp may be usable.)

Bring your favorite work gloves.

10 essentials recommended.

Clothes that can get dirty and keep you warm.

Tools will be available, but you may want to bring your own. 

Meals are provided, but bring your own favorite snacks. 

Projects we need help with

The usual tasks:

Unpack/Pack the Dining Hall

Setup/Take Down tents in Family Camp

Setup/Take Down platforms in Staff Camp

Unpack/Pack up tents from Scoutcraft

Etc.

Special Tasks:

Hazard Tree Removal (must be a sawyer)

Constructing new permenant tent platforms (if we have enought people)
