Plumbing Merit Badge

Plumbing Merit Badge
"Plumbing, including pipe fitting, is an important and well-paid occupation. The industry is quite broad. It covers installations and repairs in homes, commercial properties, and factories. Plumbing pipelines are used for water supply, waste drainage, natural-gas heating, and many other purposes." - Pluimbing Merit Badge Handbook
This is a 3 session class - you must attend all three sessions to complete the badge requirements and receive credit.
Please bring a Blue Card, signed by your Unit Leader, to the first session.
For safety purposes, Local 467 requires at least 2 adults to attend each session. If you can attend with your Scout, please register as a non-participating adult, and indicate which session date(s) (1, 2 or 3) you can attend in the adult participant registration form. There is no additional charge for adults. THANK YOU!
Local 467 will provid all Scouts with appropriate PPE. In addition, Scouts should wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt (recommended but not required), and leather closed toe durable footwear. A welder's cap is also recommended, but not required - a baseball cap can be sufficient. General safety procedures will be covered in the first session.
