The Pacific Skyline Council invites all Venturers to join us for our VENTURING CAMP WEEK

At Camp Oljato we have an excellent Summer Camp with amazing programs geared for all Scouts but this Summer we are doing a special invite to all Venturers! So come join us and other Venturers this Summer at Camp Oljato!

Venturing Week – Sun-Sat, July 30-Aug 5, 2023

Camp Oljato Venturing Week 2023 — “Choose your own Venture!”

Venturing Week 2023 will be a truly unique program…because YOU will create it!

Over the months before Camp Oljato Venturing Week 2023, Venturers will meet and work together to design their own program for the week at Camp Oljato, guided by our experienced Adventure Staff.

Possible activities include*:

-Shooting Sports (Rifle, Shotgun, Archery)

-Rock climbing!

-Horsemanship

-Kodiak Challenge

-Waterfront (Water sports, motor boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, all on beautiful Huntington Lake!)

-Wilderness First Aid or Leave No Trace Trainer course

-Cooking competitions

-Overnight camping and hikes in the Sierra National Forest!

No crew? No problem! Camp Oljato Venturing Week is designed for individual Venturers. We will provide adequate leadership (although any advisors who want to come are welcomed!).

This initial registration will require a $150 deposit per youth adult to hold your spot for Camp Oljato Venturing Week for Summer 2023. A second deposit will be due by April 22nd and balance will be due May 26th. 

Cost:

Youth: $775 before February 28; $795 beginning March 1

Adults: $425 before February 28; $450 beginning March 1

Note: Additional costs may apply depending on what selections are made for program.

*Because of the nature of the program, we can’t guarantee any of the activities on this list. The final list of activities will depend on what is selected by the crew. If you would like to sign up with a guarantee of a particular activity, we recommend the Rugged O program during weeks 1-5, which you can attend as a troop, crew, or provisional camper.
