Camp Oljato 2026 is calling! Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic!

Our Programs include extensive aquatics (sailing, motor boating, paddle boards, water trampoline, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rowing, and life saving), handicraft, welding, nature, Scoutcraft, shooting sports, horseback riding, adult leader training, and a high adventure program. We also have log rolling, waterskiing, and wakeboarding! New scouts can get the scoop on how Scouting works and learn basic skills in our Trail to First Class program!

• Scouts BSA Youth: $890
• Provisional Youth: $890
• Multi-Week Oljato Provisional Camper: $765
• Adult (Full Week): $475
• Adult (Partial Week): $95 per night

Early Discount: Place your troop's deposit by October 31, 2025 to save $50 per scout. 

Late Registration Fee: All scouts who register April 16 or later will incur a $50 late fee, even if the troop originally qualified for the early discount.

*Horsemanship and Red Cross Lifeguard Certification have an additional fee. All other fees for merit badges and free time activities, such as welding and tubing, are included in the Camp Oljato registration fee this year.

Important Dates and Deadlines

• October 31, 2025: Early registration discount for troops ends at 11:59 PM.
• January 15: 2026: 
  • Payments due: $200 per youth + $150 per adult
  • Registration for Provisional Campers opens
• February 15, 2026: Payments due: $200 per youth, no additional adult fees due
• March 15, 2026: 
  • Payments due: $200 per youth + $150 per adult
  • LAST DAY TO REMOVE CAMPERS FROM YOUR ROSTER WITHOUT PENALTY
• April 15, 2026:
  • Final payments due for youth, adults, and any additional fees (such as Horsemanship).
  • AB506 Summer Camp Verification Form due for all California-based troops.

Provisional Scouts

Want to go to Camp Oljato but your troop isn’t going in 2026? Or they aren’t going the week you want to attend? You may go on your own! This is called Provisional Scouting. Register as a Provisional Scout and we will place you with an existing troop and leaders. You can attend an extra week this way and earn more merit badges! Provisional scouts may register beginning January 15, 2026.

Attending Oljato with your troop, but want to attend more sessions? Scouts who attend a second week at Camp Oljato receive a $175 discount off the standard camp fee. Late registration fees apply. Scouts must attend one week at Camp Oljato in 2026 at the regular rate (including standard early discount and late registration fee, as applicable). Transportation to and from camp will be the responsibility of the Scout's parents/guardians.

Adult Leadership

Each unit is required to have a minimum of 2 adults over the age of 21. Girl Troops and Combined Troops with girls in attendance must have at least one of these 2 leaders be female. All adults attending Camp Oljato must be registered members of Scouting America and have current Safeguarding Youth Training throughout your stay at camp. Adults registered with California-based troops will need to provide AB506 verification.

To make your initial registration you do not need any information about the attendees. 

An account is not necessary to make your reservation, however having an account will make maintaining your unit's registration much easier.
